Apple is finally teaming up with Adobe to bring Flash to the iPhone and iPod Touch. It’s not going to be the full-fledged Flash, as it would be too large. It’s also not going to be the Flash Lite, as that would be too small. Nothing has been announced yet, but we look forward to more details in the future.
Today is an exciting day for gamers and iPhone/iPod Touch owners. Scans that the next Metal Gear Solid game from the Japanese magazine Famitsu have come out, and the magazine shows the controls, and even some screens of the game. This has been confirmed from my understanding, and will be slated for release in mid 2009.

For all of you Brothers in Arms fans out there, you can get your fill of the first person shooter this December on the iPod Touch and iPhone. Screens have been released, along with an intro video on Youtube.
The game is set as a third-person WWII shooter. You play as Jason Becker, who is a soldier in the 101st Airborne Division. The game promises 14 missions set out across Normandy, Ardennes, and Tunisia. It also promises the ability to drive a tank (specifically a Sheran Tank). More information is due to be released soon.

BOSTON – Apple Inc. is the target of a lawsuit that claims a technology the iPhone uses to surf the Web infringes on a patent filed by Los Angeles real estate developer Elliot Gottfurcht and two co-inventors.
Appartently this lawsuit was filed by EMG Technology LLC on Monday in the U.S. District Court in Tyler, Texas. EMG was founded by Gottfurcht, is based in Los Angeles with an office in Tyler, and has just one employee.
Here’s what Apple has to say about the update:
This update contains many bug fixes and improvements, including the following:
• Enhancements to Mail
- resolved isolated issues with scheduled fetching
of email
- improved formatting of wide HTML email
• Fixed issues where some users could not connect to
secure WPA Wi-Fi networks
• Improved stability and performance of Safari
• Podcasts are now available for download in iTunes
application
• Pressing the Home button from any Home screen takes
you to the first Home screen
• Preference to turn on/off auto-correction in Keyboard

Every time you press the Home button to view your home screen, your current application transforms to a small square that vanishes into the background so that the home screen icons can be viewed. In order to get this fading effect, the iPhone has to take a screenshot from the application. Even though the iPhone most likely deletes these screenshots right after this fading progress is done, people claim that you can retrieve them just like nearly every deleted file.

Apple has released iPhone version 2.0.2, the latest update to the iPhone and iTouch. The only thing Apple has told us is that it contains “Bug Fixes”. It is rumored already that this might fix the problem with reception and dropped calls on the iPhone 3G.
