Following a rash of complaints from users, the medical field, and a few dumb shlubs who filed lawsuits because they damaged their own ears by blasting their iPod too loud, Apple’s next release of iPods/iPhones (read that to likely mean new models) will contain an Automatic Volume Control feature that will automatically adjust the volume based on how long someone has been listening to their iPod and at what volume.
Such an automatic volume control feature has been outlined in a new patent by Apple.
